 Check-In

No earlier than 1800 hrs and no later than 2000 hrs CST on 18 November 2016.  Check in will be at the Vicksburg Composite Squadron located at 5887 Highway 61 South, Vicksburg, Mississippi. 

 Meals

Meals are included in the tuition fee.  This also includes the Academy's Dining-Out Ceremony.
 
 Check-Out
No earlier than 0700hrs CST on 21 November 2016 at the hotel.  For the participants who need to depart Sunday evening following the Awards Ceremony, special accommodations will need to be made with the Academy Director.

 Uniform of the Day

Seniors and Cadets

  • Friday Social - Business casual attire
  • Academy Courses - Working and Utility Uniform:  USAF-BDUs (or new ABUs), Corporate-BDUs, OR CAP Corporate Working Uniform (Blue polo/gray slacks)
  • Dining-Out - Dress Uniform:  Any combination of the USAF-style uniform or Corporate-style uniform including formal wear.
Advisory  The proper wear of the uniform is paramount during this in-residence school.  Please take time to insure your uniform is in good serviceable condition and an accredit to you, your classmates, and the Civil Air Patrol to avoid any embarrassment.  If you have any concerns or questions, refer to CAPM 39-1, CAP Uniform Manual or contact the project officer. No Flight Suits will be permitted.

 Transportation

Advisory  Transportation to and from such activity is not the responsibility of CAP and is provided "as available”.  Transportation during the activity will NOT be provided. Privately owned vehicles (POVs) traveling to or from such activity is performed solely at the risk of the individual CAP members and their passengers.CAP assumes no right of control, liability or responsibility for such transportation (reference CAPR 77-1, Operation and Maintenance of Civil Air Patrol Vehicles, para 1-8 b.). 
 
If traveling by air into the local area, please make transportation arrangements with the Project Officer, Maj Shaul Joseph A. Kelly.
